Jul 28 Malaga night dive

Conditions were almost perfect at Malaga last night. Surf was 0-1ft but tide was a bit low. Temp. on the surface was 72F. While underwater, we almost couldn’t believe it was showing 72F! It was like tropical diving!! But due to low surf, getting in-and-out was easy. At 10-15ft, viz was very low looking from the surface. We could hardly see our fins. Once we kicked out a bit further away from all the kelps, we could see about 10ft apart and we had good 5ft viz. Viz was about 9-10ft the whole time. Since the water was so calm, we were able to stay at around 15-19ft. Saw a 3ft bat ray and lots of lobster and some look really big (underwater). Will do it again tonight…..
